I know that there are already a Portuguese translation, but, and I mean no disrespect, I wowuld like to see the other portuguese translation too...

So if it's okay I'll start working on a new language for Localization.
Am I aproved?

I already translate and compile the file (PaintDotNet.Strings.3.PT-PT.resources) but I dont know where to put it to be integrated in the new release of Paint.NET.

Why I cant attach the file (PaintDotNet.Strings.3.PT-PT.resources) in my posts here?

Olá, também sou um tradutor português. Eu queria traduzir o Paint.NET, mas não tive tempo. Vi alguns pormenores na tradução que gostaria de corrigir.

São pormenores do tipo: "câmera" que está errado. Em português de Portugal é "câmara".

Ou "Fonte". Em pt-pt é "Tipo de letra".

Ou "tela". Neste caso refere-se ao ecrã e em pt-pt é "ecrã".

Em "pixéis/polegada". Talvez fosse melhor "pixéis/polegadas".

Poder-me-ia enviar o ficheiro para corrigir estes erros na tradução? O programa é o PoEdit, certo?

Eu usei o Notepad++ para editar o ficheiro mas podes usar o Notepad do windows.

Onde tu dizes: "Ou "tela". Neste caso refere-se ao ecrã e em pt-pt é "ecrã".", para mim a tela não se refere ao ecrã mas sim à tela branca (onde vai ser desenhada a imagem).
Um pintor normalmente pinta numa tela e não num ecrã.

Já estive a corrigir a tradução. Penso que a tradução tinha sido feita a partir da tradução de português do Brasil, porque havia alguns erros que me deram a entender isto. Verifiquei a tradução de uma ponta à outra, mas é claro que pode ter-me escapado qualquer coisa. Em relação àquilo da tela, deixei estar a palavra "tela", porque talvez até faça mais sentido.

Gostava que me enviasses uma mensagem para o meu e-mail, porque tenho uma pergunta importante a fazer-te e gostaria de fazê-la por e-mail.


Vou só avisar-te que não fiz o upload do ficheiro corrigido porque neste momento não estou a utilizar o meu computador pessoal, mas vou tentar fazer o upload o mais rapidamente possível (talvez ainda hoje).

Ficarei à espera de resposta.
