I just installed this package on Windows 8.1.  I downloaded the version for 64-bit windows.  When I open Paint.NET the plugins aren't there.  I've checked the Effects folder and all the DLLs are there from the plugins.

Edit:  Strike the support request.  For some reason they're showing up now.  I had restarted Paint.Net a few times just to see if that was it.  Just glad it's working now.

Norton is well known for being overzealous. You can safely ignore that one ;)

I would recommend ditching Norton and using a good antivirus.  :-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I've just tried to download and for me all tested links works fine. Maybe your firewall or antivirus is the problem or your browser is using a bad proxy connection.

Hi, MadJik.

Is it okay if I use your plugins for some art that I will post on DeviantArt? I have already posted one piece of art using your Rainbow Twist plugin and I wondered if I could keep that art up and post more art using your plugins. I won't earn any money off this art and never will in the future. If you don't know what DeviantArt is, it's a site where people post art. Sorry if me asking this seems silly, I just want to make sure I won't get in trouble.

Thanks. :)

No need to ask . You're free to use plugins to create art for commercial and non commercial works alike.

Plugin authors have generously made their plugins available to everyone who uses paint.net. There are no conditions on their use.

Acknowledging a plugin or author is nice, but not required. If you really like a plugin - make a donation to the author.

A donation always makes us developers happy :D

P.S Don't forget Rick - who develops paint.net!

Thanks for the info! :)

I thought I would probably be able to use them, but I thought I'd ask anyway. I really appreciate that you replied because I figured that MadJik wouldn't reply for a while as he doesn't come online much. Thanks again for the info! :D
