Tiles Reflexions X & Y Plugin

What's this?
Based directly on the code of Tiles Reflections plugin from Paint.net source (vers. 3.10)...

Just few ideas to implement in a next Paint.net version... ( nb: since then some functions are now inculed in the built-in effect, except the X/Y distinction! )

The square size is from 1 to 5000px.
The curvation is from -5000 to 5000 allowing more spectacular effects (IMO).

And you could choose each value (angle, size, curvature) separatly for X and Y.

Try it !
This plugin is added to the menu Effects, submenu Distort.

Download the DLL
Plugin Tiles.dll

The source is available with the plugins package!
http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=7186

How to install?
Close Paint.net
Unzip and place the DLL in your Effect folder usually: C:/Program Files/Paint.NET/Effects

Nice Madjik! This gives a ton more control over what you want then the original. It should definatly replace the original.

I'm still alive!

This is so awesome! I've always liked the tile reflection effect. And now it's even cooler.

http://paint.net.ami... ... ection_XY/

i really love Tiles_Reflection_XY by MadJik (Jean-Claude JAY)

currently Tile Size (X and Y) goes up to 800 pixels.

I would LOVE to see this go up to 2000 or 3000.

How can I send this request to MadJik ?

Humm, it seams I haven't read my todo list since a while...

In fact I'm working with larger images than 2-3 years ago and I myself need what HenryH asked for (sorry for the delay).

This is awesome. Thanks for linking me to it.

My one gripe with it is that the curvature settings are too precise. With the normal effect, I work in between the -15 and 15 range, but in this one I find myself having to use the arrow keys or the arrow buttons to get that amount, as using the mouse makes the effect too broad.

The width range makes the use of the mouse more hazardous. But if you click beside the cursor on the slider line, the value increase/dicrease by 5.
