Waves distortion Effect Plugin

What's this?

This plugin is added to the menu Effects, submenu Distort.

This effect is based on the warp codelab on which I've added a GUI (graphical user interface) !

Download it!

Plugin Waves.dll

ar.pngHere is the DLLal.png

The source is available with the plugins package!

http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=7186

How to install

Close Paint.net

Unzip and (re)place the DLL in your Effect folder usually: C:/Program Files/Paint.NET/Effects

The User interface

I made three sliders :

Radius: (0.01-50000)

X factor: (0.01-50000) horizontale amplitude

Y factor: (0.01-50000) verticale amplitude

I've choosen so width ranges because I've tried the warp.cs in codelab, and I found interesting the small values X, Y and large value for radius; and vice-versa!

Some examples:

Example 1: Simple wave (default values)

Radius=600

X factor=400

Y factor=400

Example 2: Textile ?

Radius=50000

X factor=100

Y factor=100

Example 3:

Radius=6000

X factor=200

Y factor=200

Example 4: Waves...

Radius=3000

X factor=80

Y factor=80

Can I add it to the list of PPP plugins?

As (I think) you have authorization for the codelab (are samples xxx.cs included?) and also 'generic' authorization for my 'products' (under few conditions), the answer is Yes/Ok!

Your avatar is way too big. It should be within 100x100 pixels (mine is 99x100).

Lots of thanks, I've been waiting for one of these for a long time.

Thanks. Someone should download every single plugin worth having and place them in one file for easy download. And keep said file bumped so it doesn't go under.
