Pdn Problems

Recommended Posts

Changing the file extension could corrupt the file. Why not try renaming the extension of the file from .png to .pdn again? Try opening it from the desktop. After you rename the extension back to .pdn you could try opening Paint.Net and on the File menu try opening the file from the "Opened Recent" list and see if it opens successfully with Paint.NET.

If that doesn't work - have a look at the plugin that BoltBait linked to in this thread http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/31893-i-need-help-i-cant-open-this-file/

Well, changing the extension doesn't actually corrupt the file itself, it just means that whatever tries to open it will believe it's nonsense and then possibly claim that it's corrupt. But that's sort of a philosophical semantics discussion.

Renaming it back should do the trick.
