Pernaman Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 I remember this starting to occur after 4.0.3 updated and it has been happening for a few times now. I just use Paint.NET as I normally do but sometimes the software just freezes and I get typical Windows notification that the software has encountered a problem and it needs to shut down. When this happens, Paint.NET won't even create a crashing document on the desktop. I can then open and use it normally. This issue occurs randomly without use of specific tool. I updated to 4.0.5 but it happened again just a minute ago. Can anyone help with this? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BoltBait Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Click the gear in the upper right corner and turn off "Hardware accelerated rendering". See if that fixes the problem.
