Fame Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 Alright, so I'm new here. I've started using Paint for a while now, and slowly learning the basics. Could someone explain, how to have Transparent images, keep the background of the image? Say, I have a nature background. I found an image of a transparent rainbow or something.. How would I paste that into the image - without having the transparency of the image cutting off the background? Would it be something to do with layers?.. Thanks! Once you have it on it's own layer you can move it around or change the size with the move selected pixels tool if you need to. To save the whole image you will have to merge the layers or flatten the image. gregors Posted October 30, 2014 Share Posted October 30, 2014 Don't forget that you can change the transparency of the layers: Double click and use the slider ot enter a value between 0 and 255 to get the layer more or less transparent.
