after making the opacity..my layer doesn't look like the one in the picture...=( can someone help me, am sorta new to this.

Use an image or media hosting site (Photobucket, Imageshack) to host your image. NOTE: don't try to host PDN files. (duh :P)

You need a render to paste to the other layer...

The checkerboard under th image shows how transparent or opaque it is, and nothing more.

so do i make another layer with the render on it?. then i make the color layer?

How do you "select all" on the image?

How do I set my layer opacity?
