Error 1622: couldn't find installation log... something

Recommended Posts

Hello, i had this error and i couldn't find answers here, so i found a way to correct it if someone else has it.

The problem was the user environment variables i used, with different TEMP and TMP variables.

Just giving them their initial value solved the problem. (something like %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp)

If you don't know how to change it, here is a quick way to do it:

Right click on computer --> properties --> advanced system properties --> environmental variables

There you can change the user variables.

English is not my first language, and i'm sorry for the mistakes or bad translations you might find here.

I don't recall that error being reported before. Thanks for posting your solution.
