Shaded borders.

Hi all.
I cannot create a rectangle this type (url: http://www.repubblica.it/). The borders are shadowed; can you tell me how to do it?
I downloaded some plug-in; but the problem remains.

I drew 2 lines on a layer, and duplicated the layer.
I then applied a gaussian blur to the bottom layer.
I merged the top layer down and removed the blur from the inside.

Hi sabert80,

easy to do (look for: gradiant sidebar!)


1. go to left handed color palette and choose 2 colors
2. go to Effects--->Gradiant---->Vertical---->OK
3. save it

I have not "Gradiant-->Vertical" in "Effects"; is a plug-in?

I tried but I do not succeed.
Can you write me the steps for create vertical lines?
