The purple flower thing is still the best one for me.
I'll do another one sometime soon. I need to find a place to get more photos. Next summer I'll be on a cruise, so I should have some nice photos from that.

The symbol is a graffiti font with a blue X and a black P, with one zoomblur and one regular layer of each. a

BTW, isn't #7 pool ball dark red or brown, and the numbers are black? I saw that also in the tutorial, I don't play pool in reality, just online, but I think they use same colors

Didn't think about that, but it was really just about the "Lucky Seven" type of thing.Got to agree with HELEN, nice gallery so far.

You've chosen like THE best font in the world to place inside the pool ball. I love it! The only thing are the jaggies, but now I'm asking myself, why did I mention them? Who cares, right? As long as the image is awesome.
Agreed with Helen about the font. Nice how you've run with your own take on the tut'
Art is what you see. Not everything has to conform
The jaggies ? They matter because they detract from the image ?

As in jagged edges?
Thats because it came out that way, even with AntiAlias.

Very nice sig! I would imagine the orange bit being glowier, but it's cool nonetheless. I like the idea.
I couldn't figure out how to make that crescent, so thats out of it.
I also keep wanting to go back in and make the G go over the red trail, like it flew in between the letters.

1. New project fill background in black make new layer and draw a white filled circle.

2. Using the ellipse select on the white circle layer make a circle selection smaller than the white circle and then use the move selection tool to position it closer to one edge.

3. Hit CRL+X to delete it

4. Run gaussian blur on white circle layer I cant remember how much I blurred it probably around the 10-15px

5. Then using the blue arrow click on the image and squash it upusing one of the side nubs.

I'll redo it soon, as the AGJM part has the edge of the shadow cut off. Didn't notice until I finished.
