Rick Brewster
As usual, you can either use the built-in updater from the Utilities menu, or you can download and install directly from the website: http://www.getpaint.net/. There's no need to worry about removing the old version; that is all handled automatically. This update fixes some issues with the fault-tolerant save functionality introduced in 3.5.7. Fixed: Saving to a folder that has been moved or renamed will display an error instead of crashing (regression from 3.5.6) Fixed: Saving to a Sharepoint site will now work (regression from 3.5.6) Fixed: Saving to a file that is marked as read only will now give an error instead of crashing (regression from 3.5.6) Fixed: General reliability and correctness improvements to fault-tolerant saving The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html

meamjon
I feel a little frustraited by the change in how EXIF rotation data is handled from 3.5.7 since I use another tool for cropping proofs (Picasso). Now i have to rotate the image at some point It would be nice if rotation data is being discarded to optionally rotate the image on load to the specified orientation. Thanks for the great work in any case, I really prefer using Paint.Net to Photoshop in most cases. PS - Further on I'd love it if Paint.net had a nice cropping tool like Picasso and Normalize Expand like Xnview.

Ego Eram Reputo
Very unlikely that this version will cause plugins to fail unless you upgraded from a much older version. If plugin errors are reported, you should first make sure you have downloaded the most recent version of the plugin. Updates are often posted to update to the plugin to the latest version of paint.net. If plugin errors persist, post your problem in the thread related to the plugin. ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
