zeroality
IE has problems displaying gamma information with PNGs and it causes a color mismatch with the rest of the page's hex codes. I found this older thread on the subject, but the rules say not to necropost so here is my new thread. I'm using 3.5.6 and was wondering if this feature had been put in yet? pyrochild
The easiest way to remove gamma information would probably be to copy and paste it into a new image. ventor1
Or rather than modifying your image to satisfy a less than satisfying browser, use Microsoft's proprietary 'AlphaImageLoader' filter to correctly display the PNG file: Microsoft website link to PNG filter Edited February 15, 2011 by ventor1
Crazy Man Dan
You can go in with a program like TweakPNG and remove the gAMA attribute manually, but if you've got a lot of images to go through, it could get tedious.
