You know when they make a black shape around a character on a cartoon or movie? Well, today I found out how to do that.
First, you have to get the picture you want to edit and open it.
Next, make a new layer and copy and paste the area you want to put in the "spotlight" from the first layer.
After that, color all the surroundings around it black.
Then you edit the second layer's properties and set the mode to "Darken"
After that, flatten the layers and look at the finished picture!
