ABOUT
Welcome to Logo of the Week 2!
This week's theme as chosen by Kemaru is "Food/Beverage", meaning you are to design a logo for a company that makes food (meat, produce, etc.) and/or beverages (water, soft drinks, etc.)
For example, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Kraft, and so on.
RULES
YOU CAN ENTER MORE THAN ONE ENTRY.
YOU ARE TO DESIGN A LOGO FOR A FICTIONAL COMPANY/PROGRAM.
THERE ARE NO SIZE/ASPECT RATIO REQUIREMENTS.
No stock images are to be used.
Please list the fonts, if any, that you used.
The logo must be made 100% in Paint.NET.
No crude/offensive entries, etc.
You may use previously made images as pseudo-stocks, but you can't just enter an image you already made.
The winner of this week's comp gets to choose the theme for next week's comp.
YOU CAN INCLUDE A DESCRIPTION OR TAGLINE FOR YOUR LOGO (OPTIONAL).
(Please don't add a description AND tagline, thanks.)
For example, let's say I make a logo for a graphics program called "Expart".
The description could be something like: "Expart is a reasonably priced ($39.99) graphics program that runs on any OS."
Tagline could be: "Expart. Create expert art as easy as 1,2,3!"
DEADLINE
The deadline is November 7, 2010.
HOW TO ENTER
Send me a PM with your entry.
WHERE TO DISCUSS
Discuss amongst yourselves in the discussion thread.
TIPS
The wonderful Kemaru was kind enough to give all of us some tips for logo design which I think can help newcomers:
There are three important things when it comes to logo design. It should be simple and easy to remember, and you have to make a good first impression. Think about what this type of company would like to show in its logo.
