repete
I hunted for this in the forums and couldn't find what I needed. Maybe I just didn't use the correct terminology. Anyway, you know when you load a major software it asks you if you want to register all the available file types it can open? You then can click on that file in Windows Explorer and it opens up in that particular software. I'm not sure what to call it, file type registration seems to be the proper description. Is there some command somewhere I've overlooked in PDN that can do this for me retroactively? Thanks!
Sarkut
You may need to associate the filetypes individually. What OS version are you using? (XP, Vista, etc.) -------------------------------------------------------------------- With Vista: Control Panel (Classic View) > Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a program
pyrochild
If you want to fix the associations for the default filetypes, you can run the installer again and choose Custom. For plugins, it's a little more involved. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
repete
Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Is PDN supposed to do the file associations automatically? If yes, did my install not go right? If no, is that a feature under consideration? There is so much software out there that hijacks your file extensions it's nice to have the ability to rerun them. Thanks guys. pyrochild
This won't set it up as the default image viewer, if that's what you want. It sets it up as the default editor.
