What format are you saving the image as (*.GIF, *.PNG, *.JPG, etc...,)?

Hello

i am saving the image as BMP 8 bits for make an overview on game "counter strike" it 's the clear (transparent) color compulsorily.

I explain you what i do.I have an image on 8bit BMP with bad color exactly RVB 0 254 0.I replace with white (second color)

I choose primary color on 0 255 0.I replace white with this color.I memorize 8 bit ,i confirm it's good color 0 255 0.I close the image.When i open this image the color is bad it's 0 254 0 .

Thank for answer

I believe you're running into a limitation of the 8 bit BMP file format. This link might give you some background: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMP_file_format.

See the section where it says:

Images of 8 bits and fewer can be either grayscale or indexed color.

Try saving in another format (*.PNG) and reopening. Are you absolutely committed to the BMP file format?

Hello

I have found.I'm working on file format .PNG.I change color( 0 254 0) on( 0 255 0),I save on file format .PNG.

After I convert file format.PNG to file format .BMP and it's wonderfull the color is good (0 255 0) on file format .BMP

The .BMP 256 color is necessary for the game "counter strike"

Thank you for answer :P
