Here is how to make a simple linoleum floor (did I spell that right?) texture. This is my first tut, so C&C welcome!

First make a new 775 x 775 image, and fill with cdc481.

Add a new layer then effects>render>clouds at scale=130.

Run threshold on the top layer at around 200,225.

Then emboss the top layer at any angle and change the layer blend mode to screen.

Change canvas size to 800 x 800 and fill the white space on the bottom layer with A09865; then run gaussian blur at around 3px on the top layer and flatten.

Now run brightness/contrast at -40 20.

There is your linoleum flooring tile, you can tile it like this if you want to.

Not a bad result, though I would make the tile lines thinner.
