Rick Brewster
Just like I predicted ... ! Get it via the updater (File -> Updates -> Check Now), or from the website, http://www.getpaint.net . Changes and new stuff: * New effect: Zoom Blur * Fixed: DPI was not being saved or loaded correctly for file types other than PDN and JPEG * Fixed: Text Tool now works with Alt+#### special character entry without moving the cursor * Fixed: Loading PNG images with alpha was often resulting in incorrect, off-by-1 color values Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html

redcat
...* Fixed: DPI was not being saved or loaded correctly for file types other than PDN and JPEG ... Hello, I'm just beginning to use Paint.NET, so can't say if there was problems with DPI with precedent versions, but I still have some with this one.. :-( I use two existing files that was in PNG format. I load them (96pixel/inch) and resize them, but using pixel/cm (so, 37.8pixel/cm) and save them. I then load those two files on different layers and save the file in PDN format. when I reload it and go to the resize function, the sizes are not the same and I got 5.85pixels/cm ..!?? is there still a problem or could I have done something wrong..? [Edit] I manage to do what I wanted, by saving all my files to PDN format, before doing anything.. while doing the modifications on PNG format (set to 37.8pixels/cm), saving (still in PNG) and opening it again, I got 5.85pixels/cm. so don't think the problem is fixed, but I will work with PDN files now.. entY8
Oh noes, where has the tolerance bar gone? :?
BoltBait
The tolerance bar is now much larger and is shown on the bottom "tool" bar when you have a tool selected that works with tolerance. The bottom tool bar in the screenshot above is now dynamic. It changes based on what you are doing. For example, when you are drawing squares or circles it does not show you the font drop downs--there's no reason.
