Toys in the Attic WallPaper - WOTW Comp entry that got 3rd!
Embrailled - the texture is from paper towel that was subjected to a variety of plugins & blend modes long since forgotten.
Spring Queen - the idea came from here: http://canceraustral...ancer-wont-wait
Time Flies. An image that I did over the weekend to show my techie friend how I use the program. He is my best friend, next to hubby & I miss him heaps. Time has flown since we moved up here.
The Hoya, since I think it looks like hoya flowers. A rework of the Passion one or an extension, however you want to look at it
Pennyation because Blackpenny helped with the Equations plugin so much & her outcome is adorable.
The TX ones are manipulated (heavily mostly) with PDN & are 1920x1080 WP, so they are huge.
Motorhead - name appropriate I think
Oil pressure release valve, because that is the TX components
Jagged Little Pill, woman outline is stock.
Watching Over You, devastated after my step-mum died.
Flame Trees, for my step-mum, Hazel.
These reflect the anger, frustration & disillusionment that I have felt for the last few weeks.
Shut the Door
Last but not least, an old photo of my kitty the Outlaw Josey Wales when he first came home. Sunni (Sunshine) mothered him instantly & they just loved each other. Sadly, he died but he lives on in my memory.

As a result of being inspired by this wonderful tute:
My Friend Jack Wallpaper
Black Madjik Made from Madjik's tute
I See Red
From this tute
More work from the collab. Since I was introduced to Steampunk with one of the SOTW, I have been enthralled with this style. Not that my work is exactly steampunk but it has its roots there. Jules Verne is very cool & nautilus shells are very cool too. Enjoy!
The Nautilus Window
Nautilus as Nautilus
These have been inspired by my state of mind since an incidence at work.
Eye of the Zebra
Collab work with Welshblue was a fun piece to make. It was a huge honour to be working with him.
The Nautilus Collab with Welshblue
I had taken it as far as I could & I knew it needed the metal master's touch. Also the background was not complete. This is the starting image that Welshy took to dizzying heights:
The starting WIP:
Story in my journal on dA about a little boy who needs our help after being burned badly.
Phoenix Rising. The Phoenix is important to me after helping my father build 3 fishing trawlers & working on them, all called Phoenix in sequence.
Sidereal - many thanks to Oma for the wonderful gift of the gem. Thanks also to Welshy for the gold texture on the bottom part of the image & some of the wood Textures that I seriously messed about with & Possum Roadkillfor the wood textures too (also seriously messed with). Thanks also goes to Patty for sending me the link to the Droste plugin. The spiky shapes are Droste from one of Welshy's gold textures. Thanks everyone for your contribution!
Don't You Slip - inspired by Eric Clapton's Girls on the Avenue
Arizona - great song & this is a rework of an old comp entry
Hear No Evil, in the style of Erte. A wallpaper sized image. I am sure that anything that isn't multiples of 800 x 600 comes out differently - kinda less clear & jaggy?
Evan's Seven WP - dedicated to a man who gave me a 1970 Honda 400 Four to restore
Water Witch WP
Art Deco Plum WP. Same image as the one below only I copied it into a wallpaper size. I don't think this is as clear & has more jaggies. The plugins certainly don't work the same. I have to alter the setting for Fast Effects to to name one. Any ideas?
Art Deco Plum
Valentine - I've been asked a few times to make my images wallpaper size. This one is 1280 x 768. I know I'm early for Valentine's but I was trying to create something else but this came out.
Emerald Deco - a jewel that was inspired by driving in town on a rainy Monday just before the floods.
DreamWeaver - created from a fractal by Shoughad on dA. It incorporated some nifty Alpha masking & other tips & tricks thanks to Peter Pawn, glassy style text thanks to Ella & the gold in the text thanks to Sarkut. Sometimes we think our tutes are not being used but I can assure you that we all learn something new with each one. Thanks everyone who writes a tute or shares their knowledge.
Deirdre of the Sorrows. Please note: the image is based on one I found in a book & the outer ring is manipulated stock.
Archimedes - legs created with the principles of Sargon's rope tute
A Mother's Love - please note the horse is a stock tribal flame tattoo. Dedicated to my daughter because she loves horses.
Blue Ghost Flames
Missing You - my darling husband was away for the weekend & I missed him so much.
Tentative - don't ask me why I've called it that, just came to me. The dragons are stock.
Red Comes Easy
Two Worlds Collide - made from an comp entry
Patty created a gift for me using Mandelbulb. She thought it would be good to manipulate it in PDN to do more with it. It was again a great pleasure to work with her awesome images to crate something new. This one is called Gift Duo unless Patty come up with a better name.
AOTW Polar Inversion - tied for first place with Sarkut! PI is the most maligned plugin but also the one that gives many artists much pleasure & great results.
Latest collaboration with Patty. Octopus Reef. It is always such a treat to work with Patty. She provided the background & the volutes were inspired by Goonie.
Comp entries that have now passed so I can post the images
WOTW 26 LRZ
Photomanip 2 Entry - Blue Moon
AOTW Lucky 13
Another Collab with Patty - All Clear
A collab with Patty, formerly Sokagirl & now Undead Academy on DA.
Here is the collab Peter Pawn & I have been working on over the last week or so. I have been a pleasure & a real learning experience for me.
My attempt at Welshy's Spanner tute. Also incorporates Seismograph texture but I messed up the second attempt but liked the outcome so it kept it. Many thanks to Welshblue & to Sargon for all your hard work in writing tutes & helping others.
Thanks to Sargon's hard work & kindness I was able to do the Seismograph texture. Thanks Sargon! I've called this one Secrets because there has been some talk on the main forum about people being unwilling to share their knowledge which is just rubbish. It is our joke. We have always shared what we know - when we remember how we did it. :lol2:
I tried this tuteby hardyboyz619. This one is partly inspired by The Palace at 4am a sculpture by Alberto Giacometti.
AM Demo - followed instruction from Peter Pawn on using Alpha Masking
Perlin - many thanks again to Sargon for showing us how to do the perlin
Sargon's Gold - thanks to Sargon for showing us a new way of creating gold!
Stone Moon - many thanks to Olav for his leather/pebbles tute!

Sokagirl, aka Patty & Undead Academy has wanted this image made into a jewel. A task I was most delighted to do.
This is what came out:
Patty's Purple Symphony
Hope - an image for our friend Chrisco
Birth of Aurora
SAC Event Horizon
Here are a couple of snapshots of my baby ratty who has had quite a few "experts" confused at to her gender. She was meant to be a boy but at this age there should be very, very obvious signs of being a boy.
What's Down There?
I'll probably use this one for a sig at some point.

Followed a tute here: http://forums.getpai...24
Other Side of Insanity
Muscle Car Racing - this was an entry that I had completed but hadn't posted in the WOTW Comp a while back. The car is stock but I don't remember where I got it from.
No Rose Today - Entry in the AOTW 5 Comp on the main board
Clouds - made using Goonie's most excellent Almost Realistic Fluffy Clouds Tute
Green Chillies - same as before but used Lomography by BoltBait
Red Blood Cells - as opposed to White Blood Cells an album by White Stripes (probably the one I like the least but does have some really good works on it)
Ryan's Jewel - the background is a fractal made by DA3K, a young artist that some of you may be familiar with since he also has the Freedom Artist's group there. I hope he likes what I have done to his Red Sky image.
About Time - time flies or you can see it as a city with it's hectic pace, still all about time.
Autumn - which is the season here in Australia
SOTW is favourite food! No stocks!
Cold, Cold Light
AOTW entry: Angels & Devils or are they both the same thing? Nothing but PDN & me.
Kandinsky - inspired by Kandinsky's Composition 8. In terms of picture plane, perspective etc, not sure that I have sufficiently met these requirements. I sure hope Kandinsky doesn't mind too much or he'll turn in his grave.
Art Deco Jewel

CRM Tasselled Rose
Welsh Wood Art Deco - this one is dedicated to Welshy Blue. Only the finest quality Welsh wood was used in this image. Thanks again, Welshy!
