That sounds like a good title for this tutorial.

Lets Begin.

The only plugin you need is Glass Blocks.
Ed Harvey Effects

To start, obviously get a canvas. Any size you want. I used around 300,500 for this.

Draw your symbol, it can be a very simple shape like this, so don't strain yourself.

Go to Effects>Distort>Glass Blocks...

Amount-500
Scale-100

[NOTE] I'v been noticing that it depends on the symbol and size. It can multiply and space out evenly with different symbols.

It wont exactly like this but similar in terms of spacing.

Your done!

Position it anywhere you want any way you want!

Here are some outcomes I'v found.

(Not the greatest outcome) :(

(This was the first image I made.(I discovered this on accident actually) As you can see I made it for a friend.)

I always have trouble creating things that are abstract and making them look cool--which is pretty sad since abstract work is what I enjoy the most. This could help in the future. Thanks, foo.

The Glass Blocks effect is part of Ed Harvey's Effects plugin package. I have edited the link in the original post.
