This is pure awesomeness, thank you very much.

Vielen Dank, richtig korrektes Tutorial.. kurze Frage: was heißt "blend mode: screen" in der deutschen Übersetzung?

What is the blend mode "screen" in the German pdn?

My image, first try:

This tut is awesome i really enjoyed toying with it. Some of the techniques you used were amazing and it was fairly easy for a beginner like me to do.

here's my humble rendition of your tut , of course i added some twists and omitted a few steps

This tut really helped me learn some cool techniques i can use later on as well definitely a 10/10 from me

this is one of the most awesome tuts on this forum without a doubt. thanks !!!!

I combined elements of this tut with Ash's 3D flower (modified) for this piece. Yeah I know, it's probably a little over done.

Looks nice!

But try to get more Stars in your space just a few lights.

And I should mix some yellow/orange into the light of your Sun. So it's better built in.

Nice tut! I really like the coloured cosmical clouds - very cool! :)

Here's my try, with a little inspiration from some other planet tutorials as well. Also i had to enlargen the canvas size before doing the zoom blur to avoid getting a line where the sunbeams ends. After moving the sun I reduced the canvas size again.

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to the forum. I've been going through some of the space tutorials. I've seen a lot of awesome pictures, and don't think mine compares. I still can't get good planet textures or galaxy dust/clouds/whatever that I am happy with. Comments please?

Your planets are fine

But you should try to begin with a bigger image (5000*5000 pixel) to render a awesome sun with a wide shine.

And your Stars aren't sharpen enough you should get them a bit smaller.

I'm too lazy to resize the image right now, so there's a link. <_<

I had some trouble getting the sun to work right, so I had to shrink it...

EDIT:

My second attempt, again too lazy to resize it. :P

Something happened to the stars in some places, but I still like it.

EDIT 2:

I like this one a lot. :P

Bravo! Bravo! This is amazing. I haven't studied this tut until just recently, but it's incredibly helpful. Thank you very much Frozen_byte. I'm entering the SAC #1, & this'll more than help me.
