I did a lot of extra effects. It's a link to the full thing btw (@500x500) and I messed with layer blending modes on it to get the right effect. There was one with screen, one with darken, one with reflect then one with glow. It accented the blue nicely.
Watch this space. It will do tricks, sooner or later.

That's actually pretty dang cool.

Before you flatten, play with rotating the top layer (w/ Move Selected Pixels :MoveTool:)

Here's my turn at it.
What I did different was for the clouds :Clouds: I set scale and roughness to max, and after setting the curves :Curves: for color I then used BoltBaits portrait plugin to soften the image up.
The original is at 1152 x 864, I resized it because at that resolution it was 2.6 MB in png format.

That really is amazing. A quick and easy to do set of instructions that produces an amazing effect. I messed with the curves under RGB and came up with this. I don't remember exactly what the curve levels were.
