My students really liked this tutorial when I taught it

I didn't have the slider, so I couldn't make it more "yellow"ier as suggested, but they still turned out nice

Every artist is a cannibal,

Every poet is a thief.

Both kill their inspiration,

Then sing about their grief.

>Using the selection tool, hold the shift key down while clicking and dragging to the size and position you want. Then, crop to selection (Ctrl-Shift-x.)

Where us the selection tool? Do you mean the Rectangle Select?

Thanks

Thanks so much for this tutorial. I would like to use it to teach patrons at my local library how to do this. May I have your permission to do so? I will not use your images. I will give you credit.

Thanks again,

Switch your primary and secondary color using the double arrow in the :Colors: Colors window.

No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio

Yes thanks very much for the tut

This is a 3d work of mine I decided to antique

ended up as (without trans gradient)

I had trouble with the transparency gradient as it made the whole layer transparent. :( Any clues would be appreciated.

Thanks again.

Nice tutorial, I couldn't figure out the border thing, when I went through the steps it didn't make it rigid like yours, but everything else worked great.

Easy way to get feasible vignetting: Borders plugin->Radial blur->Gaussian blur.

Since real camera's lense is a circle and introduces different optical circle-like distortions into the picture so using of square-like vignetting makes picture non-truly looking
