I love the H!  But the Fairy Clouds pic might just be one of my favorite images I've seen made with Paint.net (which maybe sounds like hyperbole... but it's not  ;))

Beautiful singing as well.

The hardest part of ending is starting again.

Luv your work Helen, highly accomplished.

Disappointed that most of your thumbs don't link to anything so I cant see the full sized pics.

These graphics are really awesome. I'm a huge fan of the hand drawn stuff. Love it.

Aw, I'm really sorry about that. I don't go to the forums much any more. I know that the links are probably not working...I apologize for that.

@Ego Eram ReputoAww...you made me smile so. :)

I posted a page from my book. Almost 100% Paint.NET, except for the people. This is proof that I am still drawing with Paint.NET. Mostly PDN, actually.

Wonderful to see you on here again @Helen :D.  What a lovely scene this is ............... and obviously a lot of work in the detail :) .  It must have taken ages.  Great work and I'm thinking it could be New York  .

@Pixey It's actually Hong Kong--one of the places in Kowloon. Thank you! :):) Missed you Pixey!!

@Woodsy Oh, I love detail. It's very time-consuming for books especially, but it pays off in the end. Thank you!! And thank you for leaving such kind words.

New image posted...dedicated to my PDN friends!! A new glossy I made. The flowers are a photo I took of. And @Ego Eram Reputo thank you again for everything!

Hi Helen,

Wow .. you are so talented. It's so inspirational to see what can be done with PAINT.net.

I have a question.  How did you get the beveled and shaded outline for your signature?   It is the box around your name?

I would like to create metallic outlines as boarders around playing cards.. and would appreciate any advice.

I have done boarders made of wood to show 3D.. and like this effect. See attached... Do you have any recommendations?

Hello @StephenS and Welcome to the forum :)

@HELEN is not around the forum a lot these days, but she will be very happy to read this when she next logs on ?

Meanwhile, here is a tutorial which will help with what you asked about the beveled metal:
