Bend text while maintaining its vertical orientation?

Recommended Posts

Hi Pomegranate! Welcome to the forum :)

The best thing I can recommend for this is @pyrochild's excellent Liquify plugin. Find it here: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/20688-liquify/

If you haven't installed plugins before, have a read through this thread...

Thanks for the help and welcoming, but I managed to pull it off using Grid Warp!

Select the shape you want the text to morph into with magic wand, and then invert the selection and use grid warp with a high amount of columns, using the invert selection line as a guide for each dot.

How can I smoothen the bumpiness of the top and bottom parts of the text?

Try the :MedianEffect: Median effect.
