  3. Wanted to download G’MIC. Note. I have not yet switched to paint.net Version 5 (not sure my system can handle it-yet) 1. Am currently still using paint.net Version 4.3.12 (Stable 4.312.8267.29064). 2. Went to G’MIC.eu. downloaded G’MIC Effect v3.1.6.1 (Gmic_win64.zip for X64 versions of windows 10). Not the 3.1.6.4 for the new paint.net Ver 5 release 3. Went to my download file see #1 on illustration. 4. Found “Readme” see # 2 on illustration. 5. Did as instructed. Placed Gmic.dll and Gmic folder into paint.net Effects folder. 6. After restarting pint.net looked at “Effects-advanced. see # 3 on illustration. 7. No Joy, No EMIC. see # 4 on illustration. 8. I did remove and reinstall GMIC twice in hopes my technique had been faulty. Is there a suggestion as to what would allow my being able to download the GMIC file?

  17. For the current OOF-Maps, I clicked on the link for EER's Relief Map Generator , which took me to the page. However, when I tried to download the .dll file it would not download but was flagged by Microsoft. Make sure you trust ReliefMapGenerator.dll before you open it Microsoft Defender SmartScreen couldn't veify if this file is safe because it isn't commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust the file you're downloading or its source before you open it. Name: ReliefMapGenerator.dllPublisher: Unknown After accepting file as a safe-trusted file download. Was able to find the .dll in my Windows Download file. tried to install .dll in Program Files>paint.net> Effects folder THEN tried to install .dll in Program Files>paint.net> File Types folder .dll did install in either folder Shut down paint.net, even restarted the compuer each try of installing But Relief Map Generator would not appear on paint.net home page in Adjustments or Effects removed Relief Map Generator from computer. Using: paint.net version 4.3.12, Windows 10 , read reread the plug in installation pages-no joy So embarrassing , What have I gotten myself into now? 🤔
