  1. What/where are the steps for using the setup.exe pls? - I'm not au fait with the technical stuff.. more of a monkey see, monkey do person, sorry.
  2. Yes! Sorry, no idea how to do this or go further Madjik. I do not understand what my next step/s should be. y o y does paint.net get downloaded without the plugins? I prefer a version 'fully-loaded' and none of this retro fitting. Lets have some one stop shopping.. a download that at leasts asks if you wtn none/some/all of the optional extas When I order a car I want all the extras, and when it's delivered or ready for collection I expect it to have all the working parts and to be ready to go. I don't expect to have to do anymore than fill it up with fuel - the only thingIi need to add is wax
  3. is wondering why he downlaoded paint.net and now has to muck around with plugins .. and it's not working GRRRRR!!!!

  4. So far i'm not having much luck, they wont go int to the paintNet.exe file also, i select and copy, but no option to paste. m usin firefox and windows 7 advice pls.. ty
  5. Okay Sarkut, have to get used to the forum and searches. So I'm stuck by the looks of it. I'll try after the comp has learned to obey, in the mean time i'll play with gimp
  6. Well those threads are not helping Sarkut - I'm looking for a reference to the 1603 error, the only other post regarding this (other than mine), tells the user they posted in the wrong place - I searched using 1603 only. I'm Running Vista, some updates are an issue, so the comp goes in tomorrow for an overhaul - I don't think the updates are the issue, it downloaded gimp 2.6 okay last week. I'm told paint.net is superior.
  7. I can't install due to "fatal error during intallation" error #1603 any help please
