  1. Well my main problem is getting the bottom of the Ts all locked to one pixel.? I could just put in a large circle around them all later I suppose. It getting the Ts all aligned up and spaced correctly.
  2. Hi, I'm trying to put 8 or so tesla logos into a circle. Supposedly the Logo is a cross section of an electric motor, so i'm trying to put it back together. I kinda freehanded the one image, but I can't seem to get the anchor point, or the spacing precise enough. I'm copying the symbol, pasting into another layer, and anchoring the bottom of the T, and rotating. But, I can't get the anchor precise, the width at the top compared to the length seems too wide. The question is, how would you advanced users accomplish this? And for some reason I cannot get the flip verticle, rotate 90 to work when dealing with layers for some reason. Maybe I need to find a snap to grid or something? What do you guys think?
  3. My Aunte wants to have a picture which is 640x427 pixels into a 11" x 14" canvas. I know I can simply enlarge this picture, but is there any way to actually increase the resolution, or doctor the image to look better? Perhaps a plugin that can make some tweaks so it isn't so grainy? Thanks
  4. I'll get to it, I saw that fan and had to try animating it. It's an ADD thing I guess. ?
  5. There is a nice golden fan in that thread that looks like it's slowly rotating. I tried making it into a rotating gif, but it didn't work. It's all glitchy just like my other failed attempts mentioned earlier.
  6. Recolor Gray did it. I could not get the motion to work out like the original, so I just edited the 25 frames of the original.
  7. I'm trying to open up a gif with the layers exposed, but I don't seem to have Save As in the R-Click Menu. Ideas? I figured it out. You simply copy and paste the file (to retain the original), and edit the name and replace .gif with .agif. I want to say i've done this before, and just had a brain freeze.
  8. How do you build this from scratch? Full disclosure, I'm not much of a shape drawer. How is the shading of the blades done? It seems they selected the white portion around the blades and did a Gaussian Blur; maybe.. Is there any way to change the color of this to a custom color leaving the Gaussian blur in tact?
  9. Err.. Blender looks like a Cad/Cam program. Suffer through countless yaw rotation layers, or learn Blender. Choices choices.
  10. Scripting: PDN has Scriptlab, and I played around with it a little, but couldn't get it to advance the ball. In Monolithic, I would like to advance the Yaw by one, paste into new layer, re-open Monolithic, and repeat say; 87 times lol. Is that possible? Maybe I should go check out Blender. With a few tweaks Monolithic would be really good at this. The shortcut at the top of effects that gets created that says "Repeat Monolithic" would repeat the advancing of Yaw would be awesome, but it doesn't. Thoughts.
  11. Thanks Woodsy. I can't seem to find Add Depth in my toolbag. Where should it be located?
  12. I really want a 4D version where you see the back, but just what I can manage with TR's Monolithic is what i'll settle for the time being. A little tweaking, and that program would be really good at making Gifs. I did manage to edit my font which saved the project. I used Glypher Studio, and it was really really easy. I couldn't figure out font forge, or birdfont. I had to convert the file back to TTF for TRMonolithic to recognize the font. Like this:
  13. Editing the O is extremely cumbersome on all the layers I need, does anybody have any experience with editing a font? I downloaded fontforge, but I really can't figure out exactly what I need to do in there. Ideas?
  14. Fiddling with it, I may actually be looking for a 4D textblock in order to facilitate the rotation and see the back as it comes around. Is there a way to build-out using a layering technique? There's an Edge Detect Plugin that I don't know how to use, can it extend the edges out?
