    Problem solved by unistalling and then reinstalling the software.

    Hello everybody, I have just installed the latest beta version (4.0.5152.40811) and realized that Paint.NET crashes when clicking on the "Settings" icon on the top right. A message informs me whether I want to relaunch the software. I am running Paint.NET on Windows 7 (x86).
