  1. I keep getting sent to: download video converter world?

is this required, whatever it is?

finally going to w11 this is my 1st attempt at DLing newer 'after 3.5xx' why all the hurdles?

why have to pay at microsoft store?

why cant i just DL the program & install it myself?

I have tried later versions for 7-8 even one time tried for W10, didnt like ANY version after 3.5.1x

never asked for help for it, didnt like the tone of your answers then eventually NO answers anymore

also got some (seems to me) weird links to elsewhare

    have not downloaded ANYHING yet

Dont mean to piss off anyone

been registered here for many years, , , , ,

  2. When resizing images, do the dimensions make any difference to the resulting size of the new image?

    Example: 5729x7354 'pixels' resized from 5729 p to 1000 p, as opposed to say 5000p to 1000 p.

    I mostly scale to 16-9 = 1600 - 900, 1778 - 1000, etc.

    5729x7354 scaled to height = 900, width = 701, reset width (701) to 1600, = 16-9

    Hope this question makes sense, , , , ,

  3. Can you view/see the complete portion of what you want on your computers screen? (use ctrl + or -). Use/hit 'Print-Scrn', in PNet, 'paste', tool = rectangular select, copy, new, paste, save as "", walla!

I save lots of 'cartoons' & many do not allow 'save image as', sooo, print scrn, (I have pdn arise from the depths with 'on my computer' = F8), paste etc, etc, , ,

  4. Jpg images are lossy, is this the right term?

I save images as pdn, png, bmp, & jpg. (1st thing I always do is save original images as png)

If I have saved an image as jpg, not close it, then (add layer paste etc,) modify it ,  does this effect its image quality?

    Does this question make sense?

Every time a jpg is 'opened' & modified then closed its 'quality' degrades, right? What about as above?

I could (ctrl-z) back to pdn, png, or bmp, (1st lossless image)  & then modify, would this make any difference?

    Make sense?

  5. I remove like this: (takes a while I still use 3.5.1, old!)

    Untitled1.png.592e41afe0c59b3d530014272ca55141.png

Line white, "all the way around"

(edit: a sample here of pic.)

    Untitled2.png.2d0dda66bb3a15420ec79c3bdeea372c.png

    (rec. select from above, duh!)

Not showing, but Magic wand 26% (<-default for me)

    (edit: added blue background)

White is -gone- (on my comp = checker pattern)

    3.png.1eedd930baea064c84995b83a93bcbc8.png

Magic wand at "maximum without selecting everything" (for me was 68%)

White is -gone- (on my comp = checker pattern)

antialiasing enabled = smoother edges. (I rarely disable antialiasing)

I have not added more than 1 or 2 plugins, dont even remember which ones, , , , ,

    (edit: added blue background)

  6. Before either cloning an hdd with PDN already installed, or, starting from scratch, (complete OS  + + install), That is, cloning to or new install to SSD, I just want to know if, (its been a while since I've had to install PDN!), PDN can be installed on other than the drive containing the OS? (ie C:\). Its my understanding that writing is what makes sdd's die sooner as opposed to reading.

How many here have PDN on an SSD?

(edit: I never have issues/problems with PDN!)

  7. Find, download, and install SP-3. (XP-32)

    If XP-64,  "  "  '"                            SP-2

I run PDN 3.5x  on XP-64, went online to install it, "unplugged cat 5 cable" Been offline for 5 years, no anti-virus etc, PDN works flawlessly!! <- XP-64 with 8 gigs ram)

Have it on W-10, (latest version at time), truly dont like it.

(D-L plugins, etc, etc, with this computer. Anti-v scan & move with thumb drive)
